Bulgarians abroad are voting for President and Vice-President in 68 countries

Voting at the polling station abroad which opened earliest – the one in Christchurch, New Zealand is over. Due to the time different it opened at 8 PM Bulgarian time on 20 November (7 AM local time on 21 November, 2021). There, as well as at two polling stations in Australia and one in USA, the ballots did not arrive in time, and the Central Election Committee made the decision for a template of the ballot to be printed out additionally. The last stations to close on Monday will be in California, Arizona and Nevada in the US.

At the second round of the election for President and Vice-President, Bulgarian citizens can vote at 749 polling stations in 68 countries. According to Foreign Ministry data the highest number of polling stations abroad have been set up in Great Britain – 132, in Turkey – 126, Germany – 82, Spain – 69, USA – 55 and Greece – 26 polling stations.
