For the third year running, the National Scholarship “Per aspera ad astra” will support young talents in five fields of art: visual arts, literature, music, dancing and theatrical performance. The scholarship, which was established at the proposal of opera singer Ina Kancheva, helps talented Bulgarian artists since 2019. The financial support is provided by the Sofia Municipality.
The national scholarship aims to encourage the development of young and talented Bulgarians. Each scholar in the relevant category receives support in the course of one year. In addition, these people work with mentors and have budgets covering the costs of their artistic project and their participation at an annual thematic performance held within the frameworks of the annual festival CULTURAMA.
