Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 16 December 2021

Snow and rain in Eastern Bulgaria, no precipitation in the western parts

The weather in Bulgaria on Thursday will be mostly cloudy. It will rain in the eastern half of the country, with snow in most areas. Moderate winds are expected, in Eastern Bulgaria strong northwesterly wind. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 3 and 2 °C. Daytime highs will range from 1 to 6 °C. For the region of Sofia the thermometers will indicate up to 1 °C.

It will be cloudy over the mountains, with snowfall in the eastern parts. Wind and snowdrifts are expected in the mountain passes. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be around 0 °C, at 2,000 m - minus 6 °C.
On Friday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly.
