Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 18 December 2021

Less cloudy yet colder weather expected on Saturday

On Saturday, snow is expected in some parts in the mountains. A strong northerly wind will blow in Eastern Bulgaria and along the Struma River valley. The maximum temperatures will range from 1 to 6 °C along the Black Sea coast, for the region of Sofia - up to 1.


In the mountains it will be cloudy with snowfall. A strong northeasterly wind with blizzards and gusts is expected. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be minus 4 °C, at 2,000 meters - to minus 10 °C, at the peaks of Musala in Rila and Todorka in Pirin - up to minus 15 °C.

Temperatures are expected to drop on Sunday.
