Bulgaria reports rising number of Covid-19 cases

For the last week the growth in the number of patients with coronavirus infection in Bulgaria is 111%. The total incidence on a two-week basis for the country on January 7 sharply exceeded the limit of 500 people per 100,000 and reached 548. Compared to a day earlier on January 6, the figure was 496 cases per 100,000 population. 

Kyustendil district became the next to move from the red to the dark red zone in terms of Covid-19 incidence, according to data from the National Centre for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases. Dobrich district and Razgrad district pass in the red zone.
Out of 28 districts in the country, only two Targovishte and Kardzhali remain in the yellow zone of the pandemic.
