Tennis: A difficult but sweet victory for Dimitar Kuzmanov at Australian Open qualifiers

Bulgaria’s No. 2 Dimitar Kuzmanov won a dramatic victory at the start of the qualifiers for the Australian Open. 28-year old Kuzmanov lost the first set against Daniel Masur, Germany, No. 181 in the world rank list, but then turned the game around to win by 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(5) in 2 hours 46 minutes of play.

“I am happy that I finally achieved my first grand slam victory,” Dimitar Kuzmanov said after the match.

In the second round he is to play versus another player from Germany Tobias Kamke (No. 254 in the world rank list).
