Bulgarian Medical Association: The green certificate should be preserved despite the protests

The Vazrazhdane party is ready with a team for the upcoming working meeting with Prime Minister Kiril Petkov regarding the green certificate. Assoc. Prof. Atanas Mangarov from Vazrazhdane party has called for revoking the green certificate. "The vaccinated persons with a green certificate can and do infect other people. But they have the right to move freely," he said.

The Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA) is outraged that despite yet another period of pressure on the health care system and 33,000 Bulgarians who died in the pandemic, pseudo-scientific arguments are being made public, suggesting that there are differences among medical professionals. For the BMA, the vaccine is the only known way to protect society against the coronavirus, and the green certificate should not be revoked.
