The only candidate for the post of leader of "Yes, Bulgaria", Hristo Ivanov, remains at the helm of the party, despite his resignation after last November's parliamentary elections. The decision was made today, at the party's National Conference, with the support of 692 delegates. In a closed-door vote, 14 persons were against his re-election and 42 abstained from voting.

Some delegates attended the conference, others joined online. After the conference, announcing the outcome of the vote, the re-elected leader commented that there had been an open discussion about the party's problems. Regarding the unsatisfactory results at the elections in November, Hristo Ivanov commented that the formation failed to react "to the emergence of the new political player" in the face of "We continue the change."

Ivanov expressed hope for improving the coalition and achieving maximum results in the sectors for which he is responsible such as justice and e-government, as well as good preparation for local elections.

Earlier today, Ivanov commented to the media regarding the change of management of Bulgargaz and said he hoped the new management would be able to take measures that would affect the control of the price of gas.
