Nikolay Vodenicharov aka Nikeca is one of the most popular music artists in Bulgaria, especially among young audiences. For more than ten years he has been part of the band Casual Threesome, which in October 2021 released their debut album Casualties. One of the songs in it - Phoenix, won the First Prize of the BNR competition for new pop and rock Bulgarian music - "Golden Spring" 2020.
Nikeca has been developing an increasingly successful solo career in recent years. In the spring of 2016 he presented his first solo song "Mirna", and the director of the video to it was the unforgettable Dimo Stoyanov P.I.F. band.
The latest title with which the musician gained popularity was his single "I came to pick you up". Nikeca is the author of the music and lyrics, and the arrangement is made together with Ivan Lechev - guitar and Rosen Vatev - drums, as they all perform the song.
"I came to take you" is about love, about one’s great love with which one had to be separated, about Romeo's torments when he is not with Juliet. And about overcoming all the circumstances that hinder this love, in one swoop. … ”- this is how Nikeca summarizes the content of the song lyrics for the listeners of Radio Bulgaria.
