We have not assumed a commitment to send any fighter aircraft," Premier Kiril Petkov told journalists at the Council of Ministers building. He pointed out that Bulgaria had a deficit of fighter jets and would not send aircarft anywhere.

In his words, Bulgaria will supply Ukraine with several cargo vehicles full of clothes, tents, blankets and shoes. If military logistic support is provided, it will be at an EU and NATO level. Premier Petkov promised that Bulgaria’s government would make sure that Ukrainian refugees could quickly obtain work permits so that they could integrate in Bulgaria. "These people are fleeing war, but they are qualified and can help the Bulgarian economy if we integrate them quickly and successfully", Kiril Petkov said, quoted by BTA.
