Buses transporting evacuees from Ukraine expected to arrive at Bulgaria-Romania border tonight

Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska will meet the people evacuated from Kyiv at Durankulak border check point tonight, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.

The four buses and cars of the Bulgarian mission in the capital of Ukraine with more than 200 people on board – Bulgarians, Ukrainians, Americans, Macedonians and one citizen of Georgia, along with the diplomatic staff, will arrive at the border with Romania at around 9 PM.

Bulgaria has so far received over 7,000 refugees from Ukraine.
