The National Revenue Agency (NRA) has launched an inspection of large producers of vegetable oil, representatives of the NRA said for the BNR. The National Revenue Agency is checking financial documents, delivery prices, sales prices and stockpiles.

The agency is checking producers of cooking oil, as well as vehicles at border crossings, loaded with vegetable oil. On Saturday, Bulgarians queued in front of retail stores to buy cooking oil at a promotional price. There was tension in some retail stores. A 77-year old man died while waiting to buy sunflower oil in Burgas.
