Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev launched the initiative of the Bulgarian school St. St. Cyril and Methodius in The Hague named “ Read with me in Bulgarian”. "For centuries our letters have given Bulgarians the opportunity to express their longings, aspirations and desires, to record their folklore and traditions, and hand down the history of our nation to future generations in a truthful manner", President Radev said in a special video address.

The project encourages reading in Bulgarian and helps children discover the beauty and richness of their mother tongue. Within the frameworks of the initiative, famous Bulgarian artists, singers, actors, politicians and athletes are to read Bulgarian poems to curious students.
