During the helicopter and ship search in the areas where mine-like objects were reportedly seen, no floating mines were discovered, the Bulgarian Navy said. The operation for detecting mines has been suspended but monitoring and periodic inspection of the sea surface from the air continues.

Yesterday, the Coordination Center in Varna received information from the Turkish Rescue Center that a ship had spotted a mine about 37 nautical miles east-southeast of Cape Galata.
