Volleyball: Bulgaria's women's team to replace Russian team in the League of Nations 2022

Bulgaria's women's national team will play in the most commercial volleyball tournament - the League of Nations 2022. The Bulgarians, led by new coach Lorenzo Micheli, take the place of Russia, which was removed from all international forums after the war in Ukraine. The news was officially announced by the FIVB International Federation.

Poland and Bulgaria will host the tournaments of the prestigious world competition for men and women, which were to be held in Russia. Gdansk will host the third week of the men's tournament on July 5-10. Sofia will host the women's tournament from June 28 to July 3. Sofia will also host the second week of the League of Nations for Men 2022.
