The partners in the ruling coalition cannot agree on the return of the paper ballots, it became clear after their meeting. Yesterday, the Bulgarian Socialist Party submitted this proposal to the office of the National Assembly.
"We, ITN party, Democratic Bulgaria and "We continue the change" have categorically stated that we will not support such a bill - apparently someone wants to touch the ballots and determine the election result, " said Iva Miteva from ITN party.
According to the chairman of the parliamentary group of Democratic Bulgaria, Hristo Ivanov, the machine vote has proved that it reduces the number of invalid ballots to a great extent and should not deviate from this achievement.
