Bulgaria can learn from Portugal's experience in energy independence

Bulgaria can gain experience from Portugal's decisions on energy autonomy and building a green economy. This was stated by President Rumen Radev to journalists in Portugal, where he is on an official visit at the invitation of his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa

Radev pointed out the successful work in Portugal on the plan also with the technologies for energy storage and production of "green hydrogen" applied in the country, as well as the research into the manufacture of engines for hydrogen-powered vehicles.

After the meeting of President Radev with the President of the Assembly of Portugal Augusto Santos, in a common position it was emphasized that the trust in the bilateral dialogue and the shared views on a number of EU issues are an excellent basis for further deepening the partnership between Bulgaria and Portugal at all institutional levels.
