Between April 15 and 17, some of the best graffiti artists in Bulgaria will join forces and talent to turn the pedestrian underpass of Sofia’s Central Bus Station into a work of art. This will happen within the 2nd edition of the GRAFF EXPRESS festival, which this year will feature 8 Bulgarian and 2 foreign authors. The idea is not the artist Nikolay Petrov GLOW.
The debut edition of GRAFF EXPRESS was two years ago, when 300 square metres from the subway of Sofia’s Central Train Station, leading from the bus station to the subway, changed their gray look with an artistic colour decor.
"This space is the Gate to Sofia and the face seen by the hundreds of thousands of tourists, guests and residents of our city, arriving here or just using the subway," said the festival team.
The official opening of the completed murals will be on April 27 with a curatorial tour of the location, accompanied by an online tour of the finished works.
