Russia's foreign ministry has accused Israeli authorities of supporting the "Nazi regime in Kyiv." The diplomatic scandal between Russia and Israel erupted after Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a television interview that "the biggest anti-Semites were the Jews themselves," BNR correspondent in Moscow Angel Grigorov reported.

"For the first time, we see a foreign minister of a large country publicly making anti-Semitic allegations." This is how Prof. Alexander Oscar, chairman of the Organization of Jews in Bulgaria "Shalom", commented for the BNR. He described it as a matter of great concern to the State of Israel and to all Jews around the world.

"Allegations about Jews professing anti-Semitism are on the agenda of the worst anti-Semites and neo-Nazis," Oscar said.
