Bus operators will organize a protest on Tuesday, 10 May, Magdalena Miltenova from the National Association of Bus Operators said for the BNR. An audio recording was leaked to the media from the meeting bus operators had with PM Kiril Petkov, and the ministers of transport and of regional development on 5 May, when some transport operators felt they were being insulted and walked out.

“There is no European country where the secondary road network has to be paid for. The money from the toll taxes is gone. Our most important demand is for the high fuel prices to be regulated by reducing excised duty and removing the bio-component,” Magdalena Miltenova said, and added they were open for a meeting with the authorities, but called for the discussion to take place with media attending.
