Deputy Prime Minister and Ministrer of Finance Assen Vassilev expressed the conviction that Bulgaria will be one of the exemptions from the EU embargo on Russian oil. Talking to reporters in parliament, Assen Vassilev stated he had been assured of this by the European Commission. Businesses should not expect a rise in the price of electricity compared to prices last autumn, Assen Vassilev said, and added that efforts were underway to find ways to preserve the price level of electric energy for non-household consumers.
