Bulgarian government delegation to visit Rome and the Vatican

A Bulgarian government delegation led by Prime Minister Kiril Petkov is to pay a two-day visit to Rome.

On Monday, the Bulgarian representatives will be welcomed by the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis. On the eve of May 24, they will bow to the relics of St. Constantine-Cyril the Philosopher. The Divine Liturgy in the Basilica of San Clemente will be served by Metropolitan of Western and Central Europe, Anthony.

The Bulgarian Prime Minister is expected to meet with his Italian counterpart Mario Draghi, as well as with a delegation from North Macedonia led by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski.
