Bulgaria has registered 182 new coronavirus cases for a day

A total of 182 coronavirus cases have been registered for a day after 4,061 tests, the official coronavirus information portal shows. 4.5% of the tests returned positive result. 64% of newly infected were non-vaccinated citizens.

The highest number of new cases is in Sofia - 68; in Sofia district and Stara Zagora - 13 each, and in Vratsa - 10. There are 351 patients in hospitals as 34 of them are in intensive care. There were 26 new hospitalization in the past day as 73% of the patients are non-vaccinated citizens. Three coronavirus patients passed away and the number of recoveries reached 676. There are 73,169 active cases in Bulgaria.

Yesterday, 499 doses of coronavirus vaccine were administered in this country. 2,059,753 people have already completed their immunization. 758,976 had a booster dose.
