During the parliamentary question time Tsoncho Ganev from Vazrazhdane asked the government whether they had informed the Nuclear Regulatory Agency and the IAEA that at the end of May after the scheduled annual repair of unit 5 of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant there had been a fire, which compromised nuclear safety
Deputy Prime Minister Assen Vassilev said he had not received a report from the Nuclear Regulation Agency about an accident at the plant. In a statement, Kozloduy NPP categorically denied all allegations of a fire at the plant.
