Alpha Research: GERB would earn the highest number of votes if elections were held today

GERB party would earn the highest number of votes if general elections were held today, indicates a survey of Alpha Research agency conducted before July 1. GERB would earn 21.5% of the votes.

"We Continue the Change" is second with 20.2%. The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) would earn 11.5% of the votes, followed by the Movement for Rights and Freedoms with 8.8% "Vazrazhdane" party with 7.8%. "Democratic Bulgaria" and "Bulgarian Rise" would earn 7.1% and 4.5% respectively. "There is Such a People" party which left the ruling coalition would remain outside the new Parliament.

31.9% of the respondents support a tripartite coalition around "We Continue the Change" with the participation of BSP and "Democratic Bulgaria". 25.2% support a coalition around GERB party.

49.5% of the polled support the formation of a new government within the current National Assembly, while 46.7% of the respondents prefer early elections.
