Bulgarian students win three silver medals in International Geography Olympiad

Bulgarian students have won 3 silver medals in the International Geography Olympiad. Two of the medalists - Daniel Dimitrov from the 11th grade and Mihail Paskalev from the 10th grade, are students of the High School of Mathematics "Dr. Petar Beron" in Varna. The third medalist is Denis Urumov, who is an 11th grader studying at the 91st German Language High School "Prof. Konstantin Galabov" in Sofia.

This has been the second strongest performance of the team in the 20-year history of Bulgarian participation, the Ministry of Education and Science reports. A record number of countries participated in the online competition, with a total of 54 teams.
