Mandatory mask wearing in public transport in Sofia and Plovdiv

Starting today in Sofia, the requirement to wear face masks against Covid-19 in public transport comes into effect. The requirement was imposed by order from the Regional Health Inspectorate. Children under the age of 6 can travel without a mask.

A requirement for the mandatory wearing of masks in public transport has also been in force in Plovdiv since July 22. Protective masks in both cities are also required when entering drugstores, health and social institutions.
