As of 1 January, 2023, the minimum salary will be calculated on the basis of a formula, instead of being calculated administratively.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy presented, to businesses and TUs, three different options of the mechanism – that the minimum salary constitute 50% of the average salary for the country for the previous year; that it constitute 49-51% of the average salary; that it constitute 50% to 45%, depending on the economic growth.
