Both airport terminals were closed and passengers and crew were evacuated for 45 minutes. The inspection teams who arrived on the scene declared the bomb threat to be a hoax before 11 AM, and the passengers were allowed back in.
There was a similar fake bomb alert at Sofia airport just two weeks ago. No explosives were found then either.
