A Turkish company manufacturing headlights for some of the world’s most famous car brands is investing EUR 10 million in a second factory in Bulgaria’s second largest city Plovdiv (Central South Bulgaria). EUR 4 million is allocated for the purchase of the necessary machinery. The new production facility with an area of 12,000 square meters is located near one of the main arterial roads- Asenovgradsko Shose. The new factory is to produce automotive headlamps only for new cars. The investment of the Turkish company is part of its long-term project to invest EUR 40 million by 2023. In 2019, the company opened a development center in Sofia and its first plant in Trakia Economic Zone near Plovdiv.
