GERB party helped Albania and North Macedonia step on the path towards NATO and the European Union, the leader of GERB Boyko Borissov said at a meeting with David Harris, Chief Executive Officer of the American Jewish Committee. Boyko Borissov recalled that August 1 marks the 5th anniversary since the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborliness and Cooperation between Sofia and Skopje.

In Boyko Borissov’s words, it is very important that there is political stability in Bulgaria against the backdrop of the tensions between Serbia and Kosovo, between Greece and Turkey, and Russia's war in Ukraine.

For the purpose, GERB is to work for Bulgaria's Eurozone accession and for the diversification of energy supplies, Boyko Borissov pointed out.
