The joint checks aim to increase road safety. The Traffic Police teams will be working to catch violations like wrong overtaking, use of alcohol and drugs. They will also monitor the use of seatbelts, the validity of driver documents, technical condition of vehicles, etc. Police cars are equipped with video and audio recording devices.
