The Human Resources Development program 2021-2027 has been approved by the European Commission and is the first in Bulgaria to receive the "green light" from Brussels, Bulgaria's Ministry of Social Affairs announced. The budget of the program is over 1.9 billion euros as these funds will be earmarked to support over 740,000 workers to increase their knowledge and skills.

The programmes are aimed at full inclusion in the labor market of the most vulnerable groups in society - the unemployed, people with disabilities, those living in poverty, representatives of the Roma community.

Measures will also be implemented to inform and motivate inactive young people, including them in various types of employment - internships, apprenticeships, trainings and support in starting their first job.
