Bulgaria reports 747 new Covid-19 cases, 4 Covid-related deaths in past day

747 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 5,398 tests performed, a positivity rate of 14%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data indicate. 65% of the newly-infected were not immunized.

The highest number of new cases of coronavirus infection was reported in Sofia-146, followed by Burgas-54, Varna-46 and Plivdiv-46.

 823 people are being treated in hospital, as 50 of them are in intensive care units. 102 patients have been hospitalized in the past day, as 83% of them were not vaccinated. 4 people with established coronavirus infection have died and 1,355 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours. There are 11,705 active cases of Covid-19.

1,068 vaccine doses were administered on Thursday. 2,069,442 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle. 64,519 have had a second booster shot.
