A partial state of disaster is again declared in the Karlovo region where houses have been flooded in the villages of Rozino, Slatina, Stoletovo, Bogdan and Karavelovo. The torrential rains caused the rupture of a dike on the Stryama river. A bridge was clogged. Seven people were evacuated by emergency teams and military equipment.

Regional Governor Angel Stoev told BNR that the village of Bogdan is practically cut off from the world as the bridges leading to it have been destroyed. At the moment, teams of Fire Safety and Population Protection are inspecting the bed of the Stryama, as new, higher tide is expected. There is no information about casualties and injured people.

An air force helicopter is expected to come to the rescue in the village of Bogdan, where there are people who need to be evacuated, as the available Fire Department equipment is not sufficient to get them out to safety. Traffic on the Sub-Balkan road is hampered.

In Koprivshtitsa, where it rained for more than 12 hours, rivers are also overflowing. The town has no canal and the water is flooding the kindergarten, military blocks and people's basements, the town mayor Boyka Dyulgerova told BNR.
