There is progress in finishing off the work on the gas interconnector with Greece: Minister of Regional Development

Despite the tensions arising from the tight deadlines, the government is making efforts so that the construction of the gas interconnector with Greece may be finished as soon as possible, caretaker Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Shishkov said, and added that all documents connected with the construction of the Bulgaria – Greece interconnector, carried out so far, should be received by the end of next week. Minister Shishkov expressed the hope that the construction work on the connection will be completed by mid-September, the more serious work remaining being that on the section in Haskovo region.
