51 golden weddings celebrated in the town of Pavlikeni

51 couples in Pavlikeni vowed their eternal fidelity again after half a century of family life and celebrated their "golden weddings". The family of Petko and Yordanka Donchev even celebrated a platinum anniversary - 70 years of marriage. To the tunes of Mendelssohn, the couples renewed their marriage vows from 1972 and promised each other long life together.

The celebration was organized by the Municipality of Pavlikeni for the 9th year to set a positive example for young people and to promote the Christian values and marriage as a structural framework of Bulgarian society.
