Ursula von der Leyen to meet with Presidents of Bulgaria and North Macedonia in Sofia

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is to meet with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and the President of the Republic of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski during her visit to Bulgaria, BNR’s correspondent in Brussels reports, citing the European Commission press service.

Ursula von der Leyen will be in Sofia on Saturday, 1 October for the inauguration of the gas interconnector Greece-Bulgaria. The ceremony will be attended also by the presidents of Serbia and Azerbaijan, as well as the prime ministers of Romania and Greece.
