Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 20 October 2022

Cooler weather expected on Thursday

Colder air currents are expected to arrive in Bulgaria tomorrow as daytime temperatures will drop by about 5 °C, as the maximum temperatures will be between 15 °C and 20 °C, and morning temperatures will still be high - mostly between 5 °C and 10 °C, in some areas - as low as 0 °C

In Sofia, lowest morning temperatures will be around 5 °C, highs at around 16 °C.


Over the mountains, sunny weather will prevail with temporary increases in cloudiness, but without significant precipitation. There will be moderate to strong north-westerly wind. Temperatures will drop and at a height of 1,200 m the maximum temperature will be about 12 °C, at 2,000 m - about 4 °C.

Along the Black Sea coast there will be more significant temporary increases in cloudiness, but without significant precipitation. Moderate north-northeasterly wind is expected. The maximum temperatures will be 16 °C - 18 °C, and the sea water temperature at 17 °C - 18 °C.
