Bulgaria reports 19 Covid-related deaths in past day

1,145 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 8,374 tests performed, 978 up on the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information portal data show. 59% of the newly-infected were not vaccinated. 13.7% of the tests came back positive.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 115 to 10,152. 160 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 74.4% of them were unvaccinated. 709 patients are being treated in hospital, as 53 are in intensive care units.

19 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past day. 1,124 people have been reported cured. 685 vaccine doses were administered on Monday.
