Petko Mitevski, former chief cashier of Alpha Bank, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for embezzling more than 21 million leva (over EUR 10.7 million) from the bank, which is the largest bank robbery in Bulgaria’s recent history, the BNR’s reporter Silvia Velikova informed.
