Ludogorets lost to Real Betis 0:1 at home in their penultimate match of Group C of the Europa League football tournament. Thus, the Spanish team won the first place in the group. Despite the loss, Bulgaria’s football champion performed well.

The host team prevailed during the first half of the match and missed several opportunities to score. During the second half, Betis started to play more actively and took the lead.

Nabil Fekir scored the only goal in the match in the 56th minute. The second place in Group C will be decided on November 3 at Stadio Olimpico in Rome when Ludogorets will play an away game against Roma. Ludogorets needs at least 1 point to qualify for the knock-out stage of Europa League.
