The winners of the 2022 Crystal Lyre awards were announced. The Crystal Lyre awards were established in 1996. Each year, the Union of Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers (UBMD), Cantus Firmus music agency and Classic FM radio award performers for outstanding achievements in the fields of music and performing arts. This year Spectrum Vocal Band won the 2022 Crystal Lyre award in the field of Pop and Rock Music.

The band won a Crystal Lyre for their album Singerprints, which was released in September, 2021. The album was nominated for the prestigious annual Contemporary A cappella Recording Awards (CARA) in two categories- Best European Album and Best Folk/World Album. It was part of the band’s repertoire within the frameworks of the festivals A to JazZ, Varna Summer, Singing Bridges in Novi Sad (Serbia), etc.

In 2022, Boryana Yordanova, Vesela Morova, Daniel Nikolov, Yanko Yankov and Konstantin Beykov celebrate the 10th anniversary since the establishment of Spectrum Vocal Band. On this occasion, the musicians are organizing a concert. It will take place on November 17, in Lumiere Cinema in Sofia, and will offer an emotional journey through the band’s history- from the very beginning when the band was an octet, through the unforgettable evening as a support band of the legendary vocal group Manhattan Transfer, to their latest experiments.
