President Radev, EU Commission Vice-President Timmermans discuss just transition to a green economy

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and European Commission Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans discussed the implementation of Bulgaria's Recovery and Resilience Plan in energy crisis conditions and the just transition to a green economy in a telephone conversation on Friday.

Both sides agreed that the transition to a climate-neutral economy must retain and promote employment and improve citizens' prosperity. They discussed Bulgaria's prospects of making the most efficient use of natural, technological and human resources in the search for sustainable energy solutions.
