16 November marks the end of all Covid-19 measures in Bulgaria, except for hospital restrictions, Professor Todor Kantardzhiev said in an interview for bTV.

Bulgaria reported the first case of influenza virus for this season. The country has detected a type A influenza (H3N2) which has already been registered in Europe. This is the type of flu virus that caused the big flu epidemic in Australia. We expect an increase in other respiratory diseases, Professor Kantardzhiev said. People with weakened immune system should take the necessary measures. The Covid-19 measures are no longer compulsory, said Professor Kantardzhiev. In his words, children between 6 months and 19 years of age can get a nasal flu vaccine.
