Delegation from IMEC in Belgium visits the Technical University in Sofia

Representatives of the European and global research and innovation hub IMEC in Belgium visited the Technical University in Sofia, the press center of the university announced. They visited the laboratories of the National Centre for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies, as well as the laboratory complex in the Sofia Tech Park. 

The guests got acquainted with the progress in the research and educational activity, as well as with business developments in the fields of microelectronics, mechatronics, artificial intelligence and their applications.

IMEC Vice-President Jo de Boeck and Government Relations Chairman Christophe Lux spoke with Bulgaria's caretaker Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev and the Rector of the Technical University in Sofia, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ivan Kralov, about the cooperation at the technical and expert level.
