Bulgaria to participate in the first edition of “United Cup” tennis tournament in Australia

Bulgaria will participate in the first edition of the tennis tournament for mixed teams “United Cup” in Australia. The Bulgarians received one of the two free quotas. 18 national teams with players from the ATP and WTA tours will face each other in 5 matches - two men's singles, two women's singles and one mixed doubles match.

Grigor Dimitrov (rank 28), Dimitar Kuzmanov (rank 195), Adrian Andreev (rank 207), Alexandar Lazarov (rank 277), Viktoriya Tomova (rank 90), Isabella Shinikova (rank 286) and Gergana Topalova (rank 321) will represent Bulgaria at the tournament.

Bulgaria is in Group A together with Greece and Belgium. In the first day of the tournament, December 29, Grigor Dimitrov is to play against Stefanos Tsitipas (Greece).
