The new home of the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Center officially opened doors today in Skopje on Nikola Vaptsarov 6 Str., BGNES reported. The center was previously located in the Bulgarian embassy in the North Macedonian capital.
The EU Ambassador to North Macedonia David Geer, the Bulgarian Minister of Culture Velislav Minekov and the Bulgarian Ambassador to the Republic of North Macedonia Angel Angelov were among the guests to the event. A joint exhibition "Together II" was also opened, including paintings by contemporary artists from Bulgaria and North Macedonia. "Today we are all together - representatives of Bulgaria and North Macedonia - to show that culture is important for our two societies and is part of the bilateral relations between our countries that brings us closer," head of the center in Skopje Antonia Veleva said.
