On Monday and Tuesday, Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev and Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov will visit The Hague. This is what Demerdzhiev announced today to reporters before the meeting of the ministers of interior and justice in Brussels. The two Ministers will hold meetings in connection with Bulgaria's accession to Schengen.

On the agenda are also meetings with the Minister of the Interior of the Netherlands - the country that is most strongly opposed to Bulgaria's accession to the viza free zone. Today Demerdzhiev has held preliminary talks with Austria's Interior Minister Gerhard Karner, with a representative of Sweden and with EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson.
