Adrian Andreev qualifies for the quarterfinals in Spain

Bulgaria's men's second seed Adrian Andreev has qualified for the quarter-finals of the men's 80 category of the 2022 Maspalomas Challenger tennis tournament played on clay courts.

Andreev, ranked No. 6, convincingly defeated the hosts' wild-card participant Inaki Cabrera Bello 6:1, 6:1 to make it to the quarter-finals in the third consecutive event on the series. The victory earned him 16 points in the world rankings.

Andreev will play against 32-year-old Serb Dusan Lajovic for qualification to the semi-finals.
